Stoke goalkeeper switches to Bury

Bury have completed the emergency loan signing of Stoke City goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann.

Manager David Flitcroft was in need of someone to play between the posts following an injury to Aaron McCarey, who has returned to his parent club Wolverhampton Wanderers.

"Due to an unfortunate injury that Aaron McCarey picked up on Monday, we have had to move quickly to get another keeper into the club. We've also been given permission for Daniel to play in the FA Cup," Flitcroft told the club's official website.

Twenty-one-year-old Bachmann has not made a senior appearance for Stoke, but he has had previous loan stints with Wrexham and Ross County.
