Report: Stoke City want Aaron Lennon on loan

Stoke City are reportedly interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Aaron Lennon on loan in January.

The 27-year-old has been with Spurs since 2005, making more than 350 appearances for the London outfit.

However, the winger has struggled for first-team football this season and is currently out of favour under Mauricio Pochettino.

According to ESPN, Stoke want to take the former Leeds United youngster on loan next month, but will face competition from a number of other clubs.

Lennon has gained 21 caps for England, but has not appeared for his country since 2013.
