Everton out of Michael Owen race?

Everton have reportedly ruled themselves out of the race to sign Michael Owen.

The 32-year-old forward is currently a free agent following his release from Manchester United.

He is said to be keen to join a Premier League club close to his family home in the North West.

The Toffees had been touted as a potential destination for Owen. However, such a move is no longer on the cards, according to the Daily Mail.

Stoke City, who are priced at 5/6 with Skybet, are currently the bookmakers' favourites to sign Owen.
