Team News: Joe Allen on bench for Stoke City

Joe Allen returns to the Stoke City lineup but finds himself on the bench against Burnley.

Despite the midfielder's return from a one-match ban there is no room for him in Mark Hughes's starting XI as he opts to field the same lineup that beat Watford last time out.

For the hosts, Sean Dyche makes four alterations from the side that were defeated by Manchester City.

Johann Berg Gudmundsson misses out through a hamstring injury, giving Scott Arfield a start.

Elsewhere, Jon Flanagan, Andre Gray and Ashley Barnes come in at the expense of Matt Lowton, Steven Defour and Sam Vokes, all of whom are among the substitutes.
