Ryan Shotton signs new Stoke contract

Stoke defender Ryan Shotton has signed a new four-year contract at the club.

The 23-year-old graduated from the Stoke youth system before signing in 2007. He then went on loan spells at Altrincham, Tranmere Rovers and Barnsley.

Potters boss Tony Pulis commented: "He has done well."

The right-back could be shipped out on a new loan in January to gain more experience.
