Mark Hughes planning for Arnautovic stay

Stoke City boss Mark Hughes has revealed his ambitions to tie in-form winger Marko Arnautovic down to a new deal.

The Austrian is contracted to the Britannia Stadium until 2017, and Hughes says that an extension is very much on the cards.

"I'm thinking about it I'm sure Marko is," Hughes is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "We want him to stay."

The 26-year-old has netted three times this season as Stoke bounced back from their worst ever start to a Premier League season, winning 16 points from a possible 21 in recent weeks.

Arnautovic scored the only goal when City humbled champions Chelsea with a 1-0 victory earlier this month.
