Danny Collins has completed a move from Stoke City to Nottingham Forest on a three-year deal.
The 31-year-old defender, who has signed for an undisclosed fee, becomes new manager Sean O'Driscoll's second signing following the arrival of Adlene Guedioura from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Collins had flown back from Stoke's pre-season tour of the USA to finalise the move.
The Welshman joined the Potters from Sunderland in 2009.
