The Football Association has rejected an appeal from Stoke City over Jonathan Walters's recent red card against Norwich City.
Walters was sent off during Stoke's 1-1 draw with Norwich on March 8 following a foul on Alexander Tettey.
He will now serve a three-match suspension with immediate effect.
Stoke are back in action on Saturday when they play host to West Ham United in the Premier League.
