Stoke City boss Mark Hughes has revealed that Marko Arnautovic could return from injury for tomorrow's visit of Manchester City in the Premier League.
The forward was forced to miss Sunday's 1-1 draw away to Newcastle United with an ankle problem.
Despite doubts over the Austrian's fitness, Hughes admits that he could be back in contention to face the champions at the Britannia Stadium.
"Marko is feeling better, which is a positive for us," he told the club's official website. "Obviously he wasn't able to travel and play on Sunday.
"He has been struggling a little bit with his ankle, and felt it on training at the end of last week. We are hoping he is available on Wednesday, but if not then he should be fine for the game against Blackburn at the weekend."
Arnautovic has scored one goal in 22 games for Stoke during the current campaign.
