Stockport recall Connor Evans from Wimbledon loan

The club can confirm it has exercised an option to recall Connor Evans from his loan spell at AFC Wimbledon.

"Stockport County can confirm it has exercised an option to recall Connor Evans from his loan spell at AFC Wimbledon," read a statement from the club.

"Connor returns having enjoyed a productive loan in South-West London, grabbing three goals in his 18 appearances for a Dons side sat in the League Two play-off places.

"The 26-year-old will now return to Edgeley Park for the remainder of the campaign, and we look forward to having him available for our next game against Walsall on Saturday 13th January."
