Watford boss Gianfranco Zola has said that he is confident of keeping Troy Deeney at the club.
The 25-year-old is the leading scorer in the Championship this season with five goals from three games.
Despite reported interest from West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur, Zola believes that Deeney will remain at Vicarage Road.
"I am not surprised he has caught the attention of Premier League teams as he is doing very well. But I am confident he will stay here and will be playing in the Premier League with us next season," Zola told talkSPORT.
"We don't want to lose him but we are a small team and if a big team comes looking for our players it can be difficult. But we hope things will stay as they are.
"It doesn't look like the speculation has affected him and I hope it remains that way. He is a hard working player and so far he has kept the [right] attitude."
Deeney joined Watford from Walsall in 2010.
