Tottenham Hotspur to lodge summer bid for Thomas Ince?

Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly try to fend off Liverpool by launching a bid for Blackpool winger Thomas Ince at the end of the season.

The 21-year-old, who is thought to have been the subject of a bid from the Reds in January, has been open about his desire to compete in the top flight.

While Spurs made late enquiries regarding Ince's status in the winter window, it is understood that the North London outfit have reopened talks with the £8m-rated player's agents, according to the Daily Star.

Meanwhile, reports have claimed that the Reds are willing to offer the Seasiders £4m in the summer for Ince's services.
