Rose pens new Spurs deal

Full-back Danny Rose has signed a new five-year contract at Tottenham Hotspur.

The 24-year-old has been linked with a move away from White Hart Lane this summer following the arrival of Ben Davies from Swansea City.

However, Rose has now penned a new deal to commit his future to Spurs until 2019 to end speculation.

The Leeds United academy product, who has made 59 appearances for the North London outfit, returned to the club last season after spending 2012-13 on loan at Sunderland.
