Roma have been linked with a summer move for Tottenham Hotspur defender Jan Vertonghen.
The Serie A outfit's sporting director Walter Sabatini has made tentative enquiries about the Belgian, and is hoping to lure him to Italy with the promise of Champions League football, The Mirror reports.
Roma face competition from Barcelona, Zenit St Petersburg and fellow Serie A side Napoli for the services of Vertonghen, who joined Spurs from Ajax in 2012.
The Italian side are also said to be interested in Spurs' unsettled midfielder Paulinho.
