Report: Tottenham Hotspur make move for Lyon forward Clinton N'Jie

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in talks with French side Lyon over a move for their young forward Cliton N'Jie.

The 21-year-old sat out Lyon's goalless draw against Lorient last night and according to Sky Sports, he could soon be on his way to White Hart Lane.

Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino had hinted over the weekend that the club were in talks with a transfer target and that they were hopeful a deal could be completed within the next few days.

The Argentinian told reporters: "I never speak about rumours. If you check in the last few weeks, a lot of names are linked with us.

"But this is private, our target, and I hope it can happen quick. It is very clear that we need to add more players."

The Cameroon international scored seven goals in 30 appearances for Lyon last season.
