Harry Redknapp: 'I have never heard of Ganso'

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has said that he has never heard of Brazilian playmaker Ganso, amid reports linking him to the club.

Ganso, whose agents were reported to be in London to agree personal terms at White Hart Lane, has been linked with a number of clubs since the summer, including AC Milan.

However, Redknapp has insisted that he has no knowledge of the Santos star.

"Ganso? I have never heard of him," he said. "I don't know him, where does he play? What position?

"I don't get to Brazil much. We got Sandro from there but other than that, no."

Tottenham welcome League Two side Cheltenham Town to the Lane this weekend.
