Real Madrid will reportedly offer Tottenham Hotspur Portuguese defender Ricardo Carvalho as they attempt to sign Luka Modric.
Modric, 26, looks destined to leave Spurs this summer, with the La Liga champions reportedly leading the race for the Croatian.
Tottenham want £35m for the midfielder, but according to The Sun, 34-year-old Carvalho will be offered in part-exchange.
Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas coached the Portuguese international during his time at Porto.
