Everton snap up Tottenham Hotspur's Aaron Lennon on loan

Everton have wrapped up a deal to bring Tottenham Hotspur winger Aaron Lennon to Merseyside on loan until the end of the season.

The winger had reportedly been the subject of a bid from Stoke City, but decided to join the Toffees on a temporary basis.

Everton have the option to make the transfer permanent in the summer for a fee.

Lennon has started just three Premier League games for Spurs this season.
