Tottenham Hotspur's Jermaine Jenas to return to Nottingham Forest on loan?

Jenas 'closing in' on Forest return

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jermaine Jenas is reportedly close to returning to Nottingham Forest on a loan agreement.

The 29-year-old, who experienced an injury-ravaged campaign during a loan stint at Aston Villa last season, has been expected to leave White Hart Lane in search for first-team football.

It is understood that Jenas is open to an initial four-week move to the City Ground, where he spent his youth career, and could be in the squad for Sunday's clash against Derby County, according to the Nottingham Post.

The likes of Sunderland and Leeds United have also been linked with the midfielder.
