Dzagoev father claims Spurs interest

The father of CSKA Moscow striker Alan Dzagoev has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing his son.

The 22-year-old scored three goals for Russia at Euro 2012 before they were knocked out in the group stages.

"I don't know if he will stay at CSKA," said Tariel Dzagoev. "There are offers - from Spurs and other foreign clubs."

The forward could be one of Andre Villas-Boas's first signings if he fills the managerial vacancy at White Hart Lane.

The former Chelsea boss is expected to be named as Harry Redknapp's successor before the start of the new season.
