Tottenham Hotspur's Andre Villas-Boas won't spend in January window

AVB has no plans to spend

Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has insisted that he is "happy" with his squad and has no plans to enter the transfer market in January.

The North London outfit have been linked with a number of players in recent weeks, one of which includes Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Willian, but Villas-Boas has claimed that he is more focused on a number of his squad returning from injuries.

"I don't think we need [money for January], to be fair," Sky Sports News quotes Villas-Boas as saying.

"We have three top players coming back from injury that played most of the games last season - Younes Kabul, Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Scott Parker. These will be major additions to our squad and we are happy to continue with this squad."

Spurs currently sit fourth in the Premier League table.
