Report: Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion 'interested in Etienne Capoue'

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Etienne Capoue is reportedly being chased by Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion as the transfer deadline approaches.

Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion are interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Etienne Capoue on loan, according to reports.

The 26-year-old is understood to be keen to play more first-team football, and he was left out of the Spurs squad which beat West Brom 3-0 on Saturday.

The Daily Mail claims that both Midlands clubs have made enquiries for the Frenchman and could secure a deal before Monday's transfer deadline.

Capoue joined from Toulouse in 2013 and has made 11 Premier League starts this season.
