Sports Mole looks ahead to Tottenham Hotspur's Premier League encounter with Wigan Athletic this weekend.

Tottenham Hotspur can cement their spot in the top four if they manage to overcome Wigan Athletic at White Hart Lane on Saturday.

The North London outfit have experienced just one blip in an otherwise winning run after succumbing to a 4-2 defeat at the hands of Andre Villas-Boas's former club Chelsea a few weeks ago.

Meanwhile, Roberto Martinez will be urging his Wigan side to build on their 2-1 win over West Ham United last weekend.

Villas-Boas is expected to start Gareth Bale due to the winger's recent scintillating form, while goalkeeper Brad Friedel could be picked over Hugo Lloris. Emmanuel Adebayor is an option for the bench after recovering from a back injury.

Meanwhile, the Latics could line up with James McCarthy and James McArthur controlling the midfield.

Current form:

Tottenham: WWWLW

Wigan: LLDLW

Possible lineups:

Tottenham: Friedel; Walker, Caulker, Gallas, Vertonghen; Sandro, Huddlestone; Lennon, Dempsey, Bale; Defoe

Wigan: Al Habsi; Ramis, Caldwell, Figueroa; Boyce, McCarthy, McArthur, Beausejour; Kone, Di Santo, Maloney

Sports Mole says: 3-1
