Tottenham Hotspur defender Jan Vertonghen has claimed that he is returning to his best form after fully recovering from an ankle injury.
The Belgian has played three games since shaking off the problem, making his 50th Premier League appearance in the process, and he insists that he is now feeling 100%.
"I feel good where I am now and hopefully I'll keep going," Vertonghen told the club's official website.
"I did everything to come back as quickly as possible. You have to be careful not to come back too early and I feel better and better, I thought I had a good game against Everton and that I'm getting back to my best level."
Vertonghen is likely to be involved when Spurs face Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk in the Europa League on Thursday.
