Adam Smith recalled by Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has recalled Adam Smith from his loan spell with Leeds United.

The 20-year-old only joined the Championship club last month, making three appearances in the process.

However, Redknapp is keen to secure some cover for right-back Kyle Walker, who pulled out of the England squad with an ankle injury.

"Tottenham defender Adam Smith has been recalled from his loan spell at Elland Road in order to provide cover at right-back for the Premier League side," read a statement on Leeds' official website.

Smith has not made a senior appearance for Spurs.
