Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson believes that the North London club are capable of challenging for trophies this season.
The 22-year-old was the subject of a bidding war between Liverpool and Spurs but the Iceland international opted for White Hart Lane due to the "ambition" of the club.
"I'm delighted to be here," Sigurdsson told the club's official website. "It's a massive club with fantastic players. This club is always improving.
"There is massive ambition from the board and the players are really ambitious as well. We're all looking forward for the new season to begin."
Sigurdsson spent last season on loan at Swansea City from Hoffenheim, where he scored seven goals in 19 games.
