Mauricio Pochettino proud of "amazing" Tottenham Hotspur win

Mauricio Pochettino claims that Tottenham Hotspur produced one of their best displays of the season to beat West Ham United 4-1.

Mauricio Pochettino has been generous with praise after watching his Tottenham Hotspur side thrash West Ham United 4-1 at White Hart Lane.

Harry Kane led the way with a brace as Spurs produced a dominant display to extend their unbeaten Premier League run to 12 matches.

The win moved Spurs to within four points of leaders Leicester City, and Pochettino was eager to express his delight when reflecting on an emphatic win.

"I am very pleased with the performance and with the players," the Argentine told reporters. "Congratulations to them. It was an amazing show and I feel very proud. We all feel very proud.

"I think it is one of the best performances and results this season. It was a fantastic game. But the next game is always the challenge. Our objective is step by step. We are still very young and need to improve but it is important to keep the same mentality."

Spurs now switch their focus to Thursday's Europa League clash with Qarabag FK.
