Noble: 'Kane easily worth more than £100m'

West Ham United captain Mark Noble has admitted that rivals Tottenham Hotspur are lucky to have a player of Harry Kane's quality in their ranks, valuing the striker at more than £100m.

The England international scored a double against the Hammers on Saturday afternoon to take his tally for the season to eight goals in nine games for club and country.

Kane remains under contract in North London until 2022, and Noble claims that the Lilywhites would be wrong to sell their star asset for anything less than nine figures should he one day ask to leave.

"He easily has to be worth £100m-plus because he gets goals and goals in this game are hard to come by and you pay a premium for that," the Daily Mail quotes him as saying. "You can spend, like they did when they sold Gareth Bale - they went and spent £120m.

"But you bring Harry Kane back to the club, give him a chance and [Mauricio] Pochettino puts his arm around him and he's reaping the benefits of that now.

"It's not often you get a talent like Harry come through the ranks and score goals like he does. They have kept him too and if he keeps on playing like he is they are going to have to be strong to keep him."

Following his brace against the Hammers, which helped Spurs to a 3-2 victory at the London Stadium, Kane now has the best minutes-per-goal ratio in Premier League London derbies of any player to score more than 10.
