Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has hailed the "team spirit" that is present among the Tottenham Hotspur squad.
The North London-based side kept their chances of qualifying for next season's Champions League alive by overturning a one-goal deficit to win 3-1 against Manchester City on Sunday afternoon.
Discussing that match, French international Lloris has expressed his hope that the team can now build upon the victory between now and the end of the campaign.
"We changed the result and found the victory. We conceded early but the game changed in the second half. The bench made the difference and that's always a good sign," Lloris is quoted as saying by the London Evening Standard.
"It's an important win because it showed we have good team spirit. It was a great game, a great performance I hope it will give us the power to finish strongly."
Next up for Spurs is a trip to Wigan Athletic on Saturday afternoon.
