Federico Fazio: 'Tottenham Hotspur should be fighting for title'

Federico Fazio claims that Tottenham Hotspur are good enough to fight for the Premier League title this season.

Fedrico Fazio has insisted that Tottenham Hotspur can still challenge for the Premier League title if they quickly improve under Mauricio Pochettino.

Despite currently lying 12th in the Premier League and trailing leaders Chelsea by 15 points, Fazio claims that the squad is strong enough to enjoy success in every competition.

"I think at Tottenham we have very good players who can fight for first position in the Premier League and fight for the Champions League and the Europa League," the Argentine is quoted as saying by The Mirror. "But we need to improve like a team, to be like a team because I think we have got very good players.

"We need to play like a team on the pitch. I think that we have very good players, good enough to be higher in the Premier League."

Spurs, who have lost three of their last four league fixtures, return to action against Hull City on November 23.
