Giovani dos Santos comments anger Andre Villas-Boas

Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has voiced his anger towards Giovani dos Santos after the Mexican revealed that he wants to leave the club.

The former Barcelona forward has failed to make an impact during his time at White Hart Lane and he recently revealed that he is eager to return to Spain.

Villas-Boas said: "I am not sure what Gio's thought process was, coming out with a statement like that.

"The player is contracted to the club. We respect him and are counting on him to return to club duty.

"Then we will make a decision that is best for the club."

Dos Santos has a year remaining on his current deal at Spurs.
