Aaron Lennon thanks Tottenham Hotspur

Aaron Lennon has thanked Tottenham Hotspur for his time at the club following his move to Everton on transfer deadline day.

The 28-year-old sealed a permanent switch to Goodison Park yesterday having spent the second half of last season on loan at the club, ending a 10-year stay at White Hart Lane.

Lennon was quick to pay tribute to those involved during his time in North London, but also expressed his delight at sealing a move to the Toffees.

Lennon, who scored 30 goals in 364 appearances for Spurs, could make his second debut for Everton when they host champions Chelsea on Saturday, September 12.
