Sports Mole previews the all-Premier League Capital One Cup tie between Norwich City and Tottenham Hotspur.

Having included the same players in his starting lineup for Thursday's Europa League tie and Sunday's trip to Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur head coach Andre Villas-Boas is expected to make a number of changes to his team for the League Cup trip to Norwich City.

French goalkeeper Hugo Lloris should replace Brad Friedel between the posts, while Kyle Naughton, Andros Townsend and Gylfi Sigurdsson are also likely to feature from the start at Carrow Road.

Norwich manager Chris Hughton has also been tipped to make numerous alterations to his team for the visit of Spurs.

The likes of Steve Morison, Jonny Howson, Jacob Butterfield and Ryan Bennett may all be given the nod by Hughton, who spent time with Tottenham as a player and assistant manager.

When these two sides met in the Premier League earlier in the season at White Hart Lane, a goal from Robert Snodgrass earned Norwich a share of the spoils in a 1-1 draw.

Spurs last won this competition in 2008 when they defeated London rivals Chelsea. Norwich have not lifted the trophy since 1985.
