Harry Kane has insisted that Tottenham Hotspur will learn from the experience of losing to Chelsea in the League Cup final.
Chelsea secured the first silverware of the season with a John Terry opener and an own goal from Kyle Walker, but Kane is confident that the younger players in the Spurs squad will come back stronger.
"It's disappointing. We gave everything and left it all out there," the 21-year-old told the club's official website.
"It's an experience and one we'll learn from. We've come a long way. We've got a young team. We'll learn and show character."
Gutted is an understatement. Proud of our team we gave it everything, just didn't fall for us today. We learn and move on. Fans were great!
