Tottenham Hotspur team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Chelsea

Tottenham injury, suspension list vs. Chelsea

Fresh from a magnificent comeback win over Leicester City, Tottenham Hotspur prepare to renew hostilities with Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Antonio Conte's side were on the verge of defeat at the King Power Stadium on Wednesday night before a dramatic late double from Steven Bergwijn completed a remarkable turnaround.

The Lilywhites have given their top-four hopes quite the boost with that 3-2 victory and now sit one point behind West Ham United - who have played three games more - in the final Champions League spot.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Tottenham's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest.

Cristian Romero

Status: Out Type of injury: Thigh Possible return date: February 5 (vs. Brighton & Hove Albion)

Cristian Romero is making significant progress in his recovery from a thigh injury, but Conte has admitted that the Argentine will not return until after the next international break.

Son Heung-min

Status: Out Type of injury: Leg Possible return date: February 5 (vs. Brighton & Hove Albion)

As is the case with Romero, Son Heung-min will also remain unavailable until February as he battles his way back from a leg injury.

Eric Dier

Status: Out Type of injury: Muscle Possible return date: February 5 (vs. Brighton & Hove Albion)

Eric Dier has been struggling with a muscular issue in recent weeks, and Conte has called for patience over the defender's recovery, so he will not be ready for the London derby.

TOTTENHAM'S SUSPENSION LIST

Tottenham have no players suspended for this match.
