Spain announce World Cup squad numbers

Spain announce their World Cup squad numbers for this summer's tournament in Brazil.

European and world champions Spain have announced their World Cup squad numbers for this summer's tournament in Brazil.

Atletico Madrid forward Diego Costa will wear the number 19 shirt, while Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has inherited number 12 from Barcelona stopper Victor Valdes.

Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta, meanwhile, has taken over number 22 from Real Madrid's Alvaro Arbeloa, who failed to make the squad.

La Roja open their Group B campaign against Netherlands on June 13.
