Report: Mario Suarez to start for Spain

Atletico Madrid midfielder Mario Suarez could reportedly start for Spain in their World Cup qualification clash with Finland on Friday.

The 26-year-old, who has made an impressive start to the season, featured in a training exercise alongside Xavi, David Silva, Cesc Fabregas and Andres Iniesta.

According to Football Espana, the session, which took place on Tuesday morning, also suggested that Roberto Soldado or Alvaro Negredo will start as the lone striker.

However, Real Madrid midfielder Isco was a notable absentee from today's session.
