Spain striker Diego Costa has said that he hopes to add to his goal tally at the World Cup and help his side progress through the tournament.
Atletico Madrid attacker Costa has scored three goals in Russia so far, netting twice in the 3-3 draw with Portugal and adding a fortuitous third in Spain's 1-0 win over Iran.
Costa, who is two behind England's Harry Kane in the race for the Golden Boot, has said that his goals can push the one-time world champions deep into this year's finals.
"If I keep on scoring it means the team is doing well," the 29-year-old told The Mirror.
"I hope things carry on this way, as long as the team does well out of it."
Spain's final Group B game is against Morocco on Monday evening.
