Spain coach Vicente del Bosque has ruled himself out of becoming the president of Real Madrid when he retires from management.
The 61-year-old spent 14 years at the Santiago Bernabeu as a player before guiding the team to domestic and European glory as manager.
Despite his association with the club, Del Bosque doesn't expect to take the Los Blancos hotseat any time soon.
"No, I do not aspire to being Real Madrid's president," he told Cinco Dias. "When I leave Spain, it will be time to end my career as a coach, but I would like to remain close to football.
"I will always accept a new job, as long as I get to defend football."
Del Bosque has won the World Cup and two consecutive European Championships while in charge of the Spanish national team.
