Southampton prepare Lukas Jutkiewicz bid

Southampton are reportedly planning a £3m bid for Coventry City player Lukas Jutkiewicz.

The Saints will swoop for the English striker in January, according to The Mirror.

The 22-year-old was previously with Southampton's academy, but was released at 13.

City signed Jutkiewicz from Everton for £300,000 in 2010, and recently blocked a bid from Middlesbrough.

Jutkiewicz has scored 32 goals during a career that has also included spells with Swindon, Plymouth Argyle, Huddersfield and Motherwell.
