Southampton striker Billy Sharp has hinted that his career at the Premier League club might be over.
The 27-year-old has rejoined Doncaster Rovers on loan until the end of the season, after being loaned to Reading for the first half of the campaign.
Sharp, whose Southampton contract expires in 18 months, has admitted that he is unsure where his future lies.
"I do not know, I think it's over if I'm honest, but never say never," he told Sky Sports News.
"I want to play in the Premier League so I need to come here and impress and I have a year left with them at the end of the season."
Sharp joined Southampton from Doncaster in January 2012.
