Report: Southampton dealt triple transfer blow

Southampton have reportedly been dealt a triple blow in the transfer market as three players are set to turn down moves to the club.

Cagliari midfielder Radja Nainggolan, Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama and Roma striker Pablo Osvaldo will all reject transfers to the Saints despite receiving lucrative offers.

Mauricio Pochettino's side had agreed a fee with Celtic for Wanyama in the region of £12.5m, the the midfielder has turned down terms offered to him, reports The Mirror.

Meanwhile, Nainggolan revealed that Southampton were his final resort despite being offered a large wage package.

He told reporters: "My priority is looking for a brighter future for my career and Southampton is my last choice. Southampton gave me the biggest offer at the moment among the other clubs but I don't play football for money."

Osvaldo is also set to snub a move in favour of joining a club in Spain.
