Shrewsbury Town boss Micky Mellon leads the nominees for January's Manager of the Month award in League Two.

Mellon guided the high-flying Shrews to the top of the table with 10 points from a possible 15.

Burton Albion's Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink also finds himself on the shortlist after helping his side to end the month unbeaten and in the automatic promotion places.

Ronnie Moore of Hartlepool United is up for the award following a positive month for the strugglers that saw them win two and draw one of their five games.

Finally, Northampton Town boss Chris Wilder completes the list of candidates after his team took 13 points from a possible 15 while scoring 12 goals in the process.
