Preview: Sheffield Wednesday vs. Reading

Sports Mole previews this weekend's Championship clash between Sheffield Wednesday and Reading.

Sheffield Wednesday face a tough test this weekend when they take on Reading in the Championship.

Manager Dave Jones could pull his side away from the bottom spot in the table if they manage to nab all three points from the visitors at Hillsborough following their difficult start to the campaign.

The Owls have only kept one clean sheet during the campaign, but they have avoided defeat in their last four fixtures by securing draws, with their latest coming in the form of a 1-1 draw with Barnsley.

For Reading, they have only suffered one defeat in their last six encounters, while their record on the road consists of two draws, two losses and two victories.

Nigel Adkins's men currently sit fifth in the Championship standings, but even if they snatch three away points, they will be unable to overtake third-placed Queens Park Rangers.

Atdhe Nuhiu could start up front with Matt Fryatt, while Reading are likely to travel with Adam Le Fondre as part of the Royals attack.
