Slaven Bilic: 'I will consider offers'

Former West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic says that he is enjoying his time away from football but will consider any offers to return to the dugout.

Slaven Bilic has said that he will consider 'any big offers' to return to the dugout after being linked with jobs in English football.

Last month, Bilic was sacked as boss of West Ham United, but with Swansea City, Middlesbrough and Sheffield Wednesday all without a manager, the Croatian has been linked with the vacant roles at those respective clubs.

Bilic has revealed that he is enjoying a break from football, but admits that he cannot afford to rule himself out of any opportunities which may arise in the future.

The 49-year-old told Goals On Sunday: "I know my position on map of managers. I know that maybe I can wait a little bit, rest a little bit, but I am aware that I am not among managers who can switch off their phones, wait a year, turn it back on and say I'm back.

"If something big comes up, I will really consider it because I already miss it a bit, but I also need a rest."

Bilic recorded 42 wins and 30 draws from 111 matches in charge of West Ham.
