Half-Time Report: Bournemouth, Sheffield Wednesday level at the break

Bournemouth are being held to a 0-0 draw away to Sheffield Wednesday at half time in the Championship this evening.

Victory for the visitors could take them up to second in the Championship but they have been unable to make the breakthrough at Hillsborough.

On-loan Cherries keeper Artur Boruc was called into action twice in quick succession to deny the lively Royston Drenthe from range.

Jacques Maghoma's patient approach was nearly rewarded with the opening goal but Giles Coke skewed the effort wide of the goal on 12 minutes.

Coke then headed wide from Drenthe's cross on 23 minutes as Wednesday searched for the opening goal before Callum Wilson was denied by Keiren Westwood.
