Stalemate sets up replay for Crewe Alexandra, Sheffield United

Sheffield United have secured a first-round replay back at Bramall Lane after a goalless game with Crewe Alexandra.

Neither side were able to break the deadlock in 90 minutes, resulting in a rematch in Sheffield.

The League One playoff hopefuls failed to test Crewe goalkeeper Ben Garratt with only three of their 10 shots on target.

Crewe had the chance to take the lead in the first half but Greg Leigh's shot narrowly went wide of the post.

Leigh's shot was the home side's only attempt on target, with both sides given another chance to advance through to the next round.
