Seattle Sounders have moved into third place in the MLS Western Conference with a 2-1 win over the Colorado Rapids.
The deadlock was broken in the 52nd minute by Alvaro Fernandez, who found the net with a header from a Mauro Rosales corner.
The home side's lead was doubled by Eddie Johnson, who was the beneficiary of another Rosales corner after 64 minutes.
Omar Cummings halved the deficit with 10 minutes to go, but the Rapids could not find an equaliser.
