Preview: Scotland vs. Belgium

Scotland vs. Belgium

Not since a European Championship qualifier in 1987 have Scotland gotten the better of Belgium.

In fact that night at Hampden Park, where Ally McCoist was the among the scorers, was the last time in 10 attempts that the Scots have came out on top against the Red Devils.

When the two nations met in the reverse fixture late last year, second-half goals from Christian Benteke and Vincent Kompany sealed the victory for the Belgians.

They will be without Manchester City's Kompany on this occasion because of injury, but Manchester United's new signing Marouane Fellaini has been included in the squad and should start.

Meanwhile, the hosts will be without James Morrison because a groin complaint, but Kenny Miller could keep his place up front following his performance last time out against England.

Belgium currently top Group A and are three points clear of Croatia, while Scotland sit fifth.
