Charlie Adam, Jordan Rhodes ruled out for Scotland

Charlie Adam and Jordan Rhodes have both been ruled out of Scotland's World Cup qualifier in Macedonia on Tuesday due to injury.

Rhodes misses the match with a hand problem, while Adam is suffering with a back strain.

Gordon Strachan's side head into the fixture at the bottom of Group A with five points from a possible 24.

Scotland's last qualifier came on Friday when they were beaten 2-0 by group leaders Belgium at Hampden Park.
